7th European IRPA Congress

The Society for Radiological Protection (SRP) is the UK Associate Society affiliated to IRPA and they are very excited to be hosting the 7th European IRPA Congress in Liverpool (1-5 June 2026).

The biggest radiation protection event in Europe and one of the largest taking place in the world.  

Submit an Abstract 
Abstract submissions for both oral and poster abstracts are now open.  Oral submissions will close on Tuesday 30 September 2025 and poster submissions will close on Friday 21 November 2025.  To submit an abstract, you will need to create an Oxford Abstract account, this is the platform that’s being used to collect abstracts.  Further information, including which topics the Programme Committee would like to receive abstracts about, can be found on the ‘Submit an Abstract‘ page.

Accommodation
You can now book your hotel through the dedicated event accommodation website.  It is recommended that you do this as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as the closest hotels to the venue will sell out fast.
