ISoRED webinar 40 years of Chornobyl
The International Society of Radiation Epidemiology and Dosimetry (ISoRED) was initiated in 2019 to bring together radiation researchers from around the world to discuss new results of studies of ionizing radiation effects in humans, epidemiologic methodology and dosimetry; support capacity building and training for the next generation of scientists interested in radiation epidemiology, statistics and dosimetry; and promote and facilitate international collaborations.
The next ISoRED Webinar is organised on 30 April 2026 at 2:00 pm BST. This webinar commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster and provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress made in research on this important topic, as well as to discuss the key questions that remain to be answered. The webinar will feature invited presentations followed by an expert panel discussion and audience Q&A.
