The International Society of Radiation Epidemiology and Dosimetry (ISoRED) was initiated in 2019 to bring together radiation researchers from around the world to discuss new results of studies of ionizing radiation effects in humans, epidemiologic methodology and dosimetry; support capacity building and training for the next generation of scientists interested in radiation epidemiology, statistics and dosimetry; and promote and facilitate international collaborations.
The 2nd hybrid meeting of the International Society of Radiation Epidemiology and Dosimetry will take place from 9th – 11th September 2025 at IARC in Lyon, France. The deadline for abstract submissions is 14th March, 22:00 (CET). Submit your research here and be part of the 2nd ISoRED Conference!
The ISoRED conference is a biannual multidisciplinary event bringing together international experts and early career researchers working on topics aligned with the society’s mission. Central to this mission are epidemiological studies on the effects of ionizing radiation exposure, the estimation of radiation doses to support these studies, and research addressing associated uncertainties, statistical methods, and radiation biology. Research on cross-cutting issues and methodologies is welcome and within scope.
The meeting will be in hybrid format to maximize participation and reduce its carbon footprint. If you plan to participate in-person, please consider the greenest travelling options. We suggest you use a carbon calculator (see here or any other equivalent one) to identify the greenest possible way to travel, calculate the total carbon footprint of your round-way trip and find options for carbon compensation.
