DESCRIPTION:Interested in radiation protection as a field but do not know where to start? Sign up for the free webinar organised by the Radiation Safety Institute of Canada with their guest\, Tara Hargreaves\, MSc\, CRPA(R)\, President of the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA). Learn about the role of the Radiation Safety Officer versus X-Ray Safety Officer\, and where fields like medical physics and health physics fit in. Included will be an overview of various careers with a major radiation protection component. Tara will explain Canada’s radiation protection association and professional designation\, point to resources on the CRPA’s website for those seeking educational programs\, and introduce a new joint CRPA/RSIC scholarship. A Q&A will be held as time permits. \nFollowing this\, enjoy a wellness break with a beginner Tai Chi session led by Charlmane Wong from Ji Hong Tai Chi and Qi Gong Richmond Hill. \nParticipants will receive a letter of attendance outlining the topics covered and total session length.
